Food Stash Foundation is a registered charity that rescues surplus food (fruits and vegetables, dairy & alternatives, meat & substitutes, and more) that would otherwise go to waste due to issues like imperfections or overstocking. Each month, we give over 100,000 meals' worth of nutritious food to people, families, and other charitable organizations in need throughout Vancouver.
Our twofold mission is to prevent good food from going to waste and provide dignified food access, promoting a thriving planet and a healthy community. Your gift to Food Stash helps your community and the environment by supporting unique and urgently needed programs, including customized grocery home deliveries, an inclusive and low-barrier Rescued Food Market, and deliveries of healthy food to charitable community partner organizations in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver and beyond.
